Andrea Inocêncio nasceu em1977 em Coimbra, Portugal. Actualmente, vive na Figueira da Foz.
O seu trabalho criativo move-se entre o desenho e a fotografia, entre a performance e o livro de artista. Expõe e apresenta performances regularmente desde 1996, em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Está representada em colecções particulares e institucionais, realizou residências artísticas, e recebeu várias bolsas e prémios dos quais se destacam o Apoio à Internacionalização da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Canadá), bolsa de viagem KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Estocolmo), Concurso Projetos Artísticos Serralves em Festa (Porto), bolsa INOV-ART/DGArtes (Barcelona), Apoio à Internacionalização do Instituto Camões (Argentina), bolsa Eurodissée (Paris), bolsa PAAD – Projecto Atlântico de Arte Digital (Canárias), bolsa de criação artística da DRAC – Direcção Regional da Cultura (Açores) e distinção como Createur d’aujourd’hui pela Federation Nationale de la Culture Française.
É doutorada em Arte Contemporânea (Colégio das Artes da Universidade de Coimbra), com a tese Silêncio - a procura do avesso do espaço urbano (ou do avesso de mim). Foi assistente convidada na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viseu (ESEV-IPV), e na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (ESEC-IPC). Foi bolseira de investigação no Centro de Estudos Sociais (CES) da Universidade de Coimbra, no projeto "ALL Artist-Led Learning in Higher Education", financiado pelo Erasmus+.

Andrea Inocêncio was born in 1977 in Coimbra, Portugal. Currently, lives in Figueira da Foz.
Her creative work moves between drawing and photography, between performance and artist’s books. She has exhibited and performed regularly since 1996, in Portugal and abroad. Her works are nowadays represented in institutional and private collections, she has undertaken artistic residencies, and has received several grants and awards including the Internationalization Support Program of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Canada), grant by KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm), winner of the Serralves em Festa Artistic Projects Competition (Porto), grant by INOV-ART/DGArtes (Barcelona), Internationalization Support Program of Camões Institute (Argentina), grant by Eurodissée Program (Paris), grant by bolsa PAAD – Projecto Atlântico de Arte Digital (Canary Islands), artistic creation grant by DRAC – Direcção Regional da Cultura (Azores) and an honour as Createur d’aujourd’hui by the Federation Nationale de la Culture Française.
She holds a PhD in Contemporary Art (College of the Arts of the University of Coimbra) with the thesis Silêncio - a procura do avesso do espaço urbano (ou do avesso de mim). She was an invited assistant at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (ESEV-IPV), and at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (ESEC-IPC). She was a research fellow at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra, in the project "ALL Artist-Led Learning in Higher Education", funded by Erasmus+.
Her greatest ambition is to share her creative experience around the world.
